HAPPY MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY

On November 2, 1983 Ronald Reagan signed into law a day to honor the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.  I liked how he quoted Jesus.  He told us that the greatest commandment that God has given us was to love God and love our neighbor. It has been a struggle between good and evil for man ever since the fall in the garden.  Only by God's Spirit can we obey.  May we sing this last verse of the "Star Spangled Banner" today:

"O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation.
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"

  1. Can I just say what a comfort to find somebody that really understands what they're discussing on the web.
You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and
make it important. More and more people need to look at this and understand
this side of the story. It's surprising you're not more popular given that you most
    certainly have the gift.
