My friend Joyce, living in Florida at the moment, saw some amazing wildlife activity around her house recently. She was in awe of a large alligator coming out of the creek in the back of her property and going after a squirrel. The squirrel escaped. Today she wrote about the mocking bird who imitates somebody's alarm clock early in the morning. This made me think about all our wildlife around here in eastern Washington. We have geese flying one way early in the morning and then geese flying in the other direction in the evening. I wonder if they are the same geese or a different flock? We have birds and bees taking advantage of trees and plants during the beautiful blue skies white cloud days. Puffs of wind come up every time we exit our door. Our outdoor entrance is like a wind tunnel. So if we experience a warm day we will have no trouble cooling off. This coming summer I'm hoping to relive my childhood picnics at Manito Park. We will take in the picturesque Japanese Gardens, the Duncan Gardens, and Riverfront Park including the carousel.
So all this to say we are blessed. God provides little things for us to enjoy each day. Especially family and friends.
