Will animals (our
pets) be in Heaven? — I really don’t know. I have been studying the
Bible for over 40 years and I haven’t gotten a clear answer.
In Isaiah 65 it says "24 And it shall come to pass that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith Jehovah.”
I
believe this is referring to Jesus when He is reigning on Earth for 1000 years.
I would say that because there are no tears in Heaven that those who loved
their pets would have them in Heaven. As a child I loved our pets—I
didn’t have to clean up after them. But as an adult I choose not to have
any pets. So if I could have pets and not clean up after them I would
like to have pets in Heaven!

Hello Flyaway. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am glad to stop by your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honoured to get connected with you as well as know you and about your interest in christian music and life. It was great to visit your blog post and see those beautiful pictures of those young kids with rediant faces. The title of your blog is so impressive " Overcoming our Genes". How true is what you have said in your profile quoting your family example of having genetic tendency of being possessive, anxiety and other kinds of sins and the realization of getting rid of those genes. I am blessed to know you and your christian testimony. I love getting connected with the people of God around the globe to be encouraged, strengthened and praying for one another. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 39 yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with a great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenheated. We would love to have your young adults children or grown up grand children come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation tine. I am sure they will have a life changing experience. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. God's richest blessings on you, your family and friends. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede
